Terms and Conditions for StickyTape AB

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you visit, use or make purchases through the website stickytape.se (the “Website”).

The Website is operated by StickyTape AB, company registration number 559478-7946 (“StickyTape”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Website or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. General and Scope

These Terms apply to all users of the Website, including visitors, customers and subscribers.

The Terms apply to purchases and deliveries within Sweden, the Nordic countries and the rest of the EU, to the extent that StickyTape offers delivery to the respective country.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version published on the Website at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to your purchase.

2. Age and Eligibility

To make a purchase through the Website, you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older, or
  • have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if you are under 18

By making a purchase, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Purchase Terms and Formation of Contract

A binding purchase agreement is formed when:

  1. you have placed an order through the Website, and
  2. you have received an order confirmation by email.

StickyTape reserves the right to reject, modify or cancel orders in cases such as:

  • incorrect pricing information
  • technical errors
  • suspected misuse, fraud or unauthorised use

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

Payment is made using the payment methods available on the Website at the time of purchase. Payments are processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective payment provider.

StickyTape is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment service provider.

5. Delivery and Transfer of Risk

Delivery is made to the address provided when placing your order.

  • Stated delivery times are estimates
  • Risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you when the product has been delivered to the specified address

StickyTape is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

6. Returns, Right of Withdrawal, Complaints and Refunds

StickyTape AB's Return and Refund Policy forms an integral part of these Terms. It covers:

  • Returns of both defective and non-defective products
  • Complaints regarding defective, damaged or incorrect products

6.1 Complaints

If you have received a defective, damaged or incorrect product:

  • Contact us immediately at kundservice@stickytape.se
  • Provide your order number, product and a description of the issue, and preferably attach photographic evidence
  • We will assess the complaint and inform you whether a replacement product, return or refund will be provided

Complaint period:

  • Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, you have 3 years to make a complaint regarding a product that was defective at the time of delivery
  • Defects arising within the first 6 months are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise

7. Exchanges

StickyTape accepts exchanges in accordance with our applicable guidelines.

For exchanges:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping
  • The customer is responsible for shipping for the replacement product (SEK 45–135 depending on the product and delivery method)
  • No return handling fee is charged

8. Subscriptions

StickyTape offers subscription services for selected products.

By subscribing, you agree to:

  • recurring deliveries according to the selected interval
  • being charged in connection with each delivery

8.1 Managing Your Subscription

You may at any time:

  • pause
  • modify
  • cancel

your subscription through your customer account or by contacting customer service.

Changes or cancellations must be made before the next scheduled delivery in order to take effect.

9. Product Information and Availability

StickyTape strives to present product information, images and colours as accurately as possible. Minor variations may occur due to technical conditions.

We reserve the right to:

  • limit product availability
  • modify our product range
  • discontinue products without prior notice

10. Limitation of Liability

StickyTape is not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses or financial losses arising from the use of the Website or our products, to the extent permitted by law.

Our total liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid for the product in question.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection legislation.

11. Force Majeure

StickyTape shall not be held liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, government decisions or disruptions affecting suppliers.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Website, including text, images, graphics, trademarks and design, belongs to StickyTape AB or its licensors.

The content may not be copied, distributed or used without written permission.

13. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is published on the Website.

14. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Website:

  • in violation of applicable laws or generally accepted standards of conduct
  • to distribute malicious code or misleading information
  • to infringe upon the rights of StickyTape or any third party

StickyTape reserves the right to take appropriate action in cases of misuse.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.

Any dispute shall first be resolved amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be settled by a Swedish court of general jurisdiction, with Gothenburg District Court as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
